Flashback circa 1993. Like Merlin in his crystal cave, I am surrounded by shimmering multi-colored faceted crystal as I sit at my desk designing a piece of jewelry. The sunlight flows in like liquid gold from the window, plays on the sparkling gemstones, and sends the gift of radiant rainbows all around me. I am surrounded and give up. It is awesome beauty and the magic of the universe at its finest. I breathe it in deeply.

As I am bathed in this pure magnificence, I hear, feel, and sense a presence. This is nothing new or frightening to me, as I am a clairvoyant. I listen quietly as many voices converge into one and these too, I breathe in. I remain still because I know that in the center of that silence is the Truth. I am being asked to write something down. I step over to the computer and begin to write what is soon flowing as smoothly as honey.

I am writing a “journey.” It’s a healing journey. We begin on an island and we pass through several colorful doors and cross a bridge. There is a beautiful blue river and a raft that has no oars. We put the raft in the water, climb in, and float trustingly, since we cannot control where we are going. I feel as if I have visited this place somewhere in time. It feels that real. We play in the waterfall of rainbows, meet the friendly dolphins and receive a gift from them. We leave our troubles in the peaceful clearing and we encounter our guardian angels. The sheer beauty of the journey almost brings me to tears. We look into the mirror and receive answers to our deepest and most puzzling questions. We connect with the light; and when we emerge from this peaceful journey, we return with our whole selves. Yes, I think I have been to this place. It’s as if I’m remembering and bringing that imagery back here.

Flash forward to the present moment. “A Healing Journey” was the beginning and foundation of my current body of work. From that healing journey evolved a deck of angel cards, Each card has its own message from angels in rhythmic quatrain verse and each card is based on a scene from that journey. Then eventually one by one came all of the other tools in the toolbox that I’m almost done building. Six music and meditation CDs for chakra balance and for relaxation and connection to inner wisdom evolved in 2005 and 2006. Words and music flowed like manna from heaven. In 2007 my CD “Release” was born. It is eleven tracks of relaxation music for the purposes of releasing whatever is stuck and keeps one from moving forward on the path. Each CD vibrates progressively higher and “Release” vibrates to the seventh chakra.

Along the path came a journal to use with the cards and one to use with the CDs. And then came other books, each also vibrating progressively higher. At the top of this is “Money and Manifesting,” which teaches people how to unblock their core energy for manifesting. There are two more items that go into the toolbox and very soon it will be a complete system that people can use for spiritual growth and transformation.
As I created this healing journey out of one rainbow filled moment, I lived it in every sense of the word. I pondered many times what it all really meant. I contemplated the bigger picture. In that process I came to have in my possession several keys, which I now share with you. In order to be truly happy and in order to really manifest anything, one must move everything out of their way that blocks their path; and one must learn to align one’s will with universal will. This is what gives us the ability to co-create with the truth of our spirits, rather than demand, like petulant children, that things show up in our lives just because we want them. Our lifetimes here are like a flash in a moment of time. Live like the shining light that you are. Everything here is a learning process, a process of remembering, a process that brings us full circle. It all truly is a healing journey.

Money and Manifesting - Summary

By Dyan Garris

Money and Manifesting is more than a manual about how to apply the laws of attraction and think positively. It teaches you the real secrets of manifesting. Here you will learn what really stands in the way of manifesting, how to unblock the energy flow of money, and how to actually transform energy to get what you desire.

The Law of Attraction is part of what you need to know to manifest, but it is only one part of the process. We do not ultimately create anything with just the power of our minds. While the power of the mind plays a very important part in manifesting, the very seat of creation is in our base chakra.

In the book Money and Manifesting you will learn how to unblock, activate, and integrate the energy of every chakra so you can effectively create exactly what you desire to create. For those that have tried in vain to implement the Law of Attraction, this book will help you understand exactly why this hasn’t worked for you. And it will teach you exactly what you need to do to learn to manifest.

In addition to this, parts of the book are fictionalized. There is a good story here too that anyone can relate to. When we can relate, identify, and see ourselves reflected, we then have a platform for change. The book is written this way so that while you are reading it, you are already actively engaging in the process of left brain/right brain integration. This is a first and necessary step to manifesting anything. When you’re done reading, you’ve already had an exercise in integration and you’re on your way to manifesting. You will feel an automatic shift.

“It is not enough to think positively, repeat affirmations, and attract positive energy. We must implement and integrate this learning into our daily lives. This is the real secret of manifesting money. It is the real secret to manifesting anything.” – Dyan Garris, author of Money and Manifesting

Introduction
The very first thing to understand about money is that we do not “make” money. We create and open pathways to the flow of the energy of money. Money is energy. In and of itself it has no power. The power it has is our perception that it has power and this is what fuels the energy of money. These perceptions stem from illusion, perspectives, and deep seated belief systems.

If we understand these concepts as a basis, then we can begin to understand that we need to learn to open pathways of energy flow. Part of that process is learning how energy works, how we can utilize that energy, and subsequently learn to manifest.

What makes this book different is that you will learn how to actually transform energy and learn how to integrate energy and align the mind, body, and spirit so that the things you are manifesting can actually occur. This is called synchronicity.

The magic of synchronicity can’t happen if your will isn’t aligned with universal will because we cannot manifest from a place of ego, which is the place of wants, needs, and desires. This is the place where the mind decides what it wants irrespective of what the spirit came to do.
And synchronicity can’t happen if you don’t integrate and implement the learning. Reading about how to manifest is one thing. Thinking positive thoughts is another thing. But actually implementing, and clearing a pathway for the energy to travel on and then integrating, is quite another matter.

The energy of money resides in the root chakra. In order to manifest anything we need to understand the chakra system, why it’s a factor, and learn how to balance and clear our chakras and chakra system. You will learn how to do that here as well. It is not difficult. But it is integral to the process of manifesting anything.

And we will be breaking down the illusion of money as it relates to self worth. Money as we know it is basically pieces of paper. Those that have learned to equate their intrinsic value and ultimate “success” with money should seriously consider when they became pieces of paper.

These illusions and perspectives have to do with learned patterns and belief systems; and here you will learn about these things, where they originated from and what to do about them too.
We will go beyond positive thinking and “you are what you attract” and “you are what you think about.” While those things are certainly true, just knowing about those or engaging in positive thinking doesn’t take you to the next steps.

Positive thinking and affirmations do not necessarily lead you to learning how to actually create money flow in your life. You have to integrate the positive thoughts into your belief system as truth. They have to take true form in the chakra system and replace the old patterns. This is what we can then build a foundation on, and subsequently an amazing new house.

You will learn how to integrate the energy of mind, body, and spirit and thus be able to attract and create anything you choose, not just money.

I wrote the book the way I did for a reason. That is so that while you’re reading it you’re engaging left brain, right brain, and the different chakras as well. The book itself is an exercise in integration. And the characters each have blocks to manifesting. In one way or another they are each in their own way of getting what they want.

Everything is a reflection; and if you can see yourself reflected here even in one small aspect, you will then have the keys to unlocking the doors to manifesting. All it takes is the knowledge of how to connect the dots, the ability to turn the key in the lock, and the willingness to step through the doors.

Synchronicity is what happens when the mind, body, and spirit are working together as a team.

Manifesting is bringing all layers of the etheric body, mind, physical body, and spirit together in synchronicity.

Value and worth are perceptions.

Hi Dyan,

Thank you for guest blogging with me today!

If you could pick one key element from Money and Manifesting that you feel readers would find the most interesting what would it be?

Your books and background are very interesting. I also have a chakra project for publication so it's great to have you here.

Melissa: It is wonderful to be here, thank you for the compliments, and thank you for having me here. One key element from Money and Manifesting is that this is automatic shift. My body of work is about automatic shift. It's what I'm doing with everything. The music and meditaton CDs, the cards...everything is designed for automatic shift. It isn't necessary to spend years figuring out how to get what you want in life. This is key. It's the pivotal point. And I want everyone to know they can figure this out without the hype associated with trying to learn how to operate the Law of Attraction. This is only one part of the process of manifesting. It is our divine right to create. It isn't difficult and ! it is not expensive or time consuming. :-) I would love to hear more about your chakra project. This work is paramount to moving forward. Thank you again. I am honored to be here.
If anyone has any questions about manifesting I am happy to answer and will be checking back periodically.

Many blessings,

Dyan

Dyan, I feel like I understand about the Law of Attraction, and that being positive has always helped me avoid the negative. My problem at the moment is that I cannot get away from the negative. I try to put my husband's recent job lay-off out of my mind, think about positive things, that he'll get a job tomorrow, that kind of thing, but all I keep thinking about is the past, how he took forever to get a job before, he never wants to work, he always wants to be in charge so he turns people off, etc. I know this isn't good, and likely he's thinking negative things as well, because - well that's just the way he is, so I'm figuring we have a double whammy here and I can't get him to understand that being positive helps your attitude if nothing else.

So, my question here is, how does one put the negative behind and look at the positive and invision that when so many negative things keep creeping in. I can meditate and I do and am very capable of envisioning things, but for some reason, I can't make these negatives go away this time.

Any suggestions? I'm quite frustrated with this situation to be sure.

Kelly, I would love to feature your question on my Dear Dyan spiritual advice column. Let me know if you would want to do that. It's such a good question and could help a lot of other people too.

Now, being positive absolutely does have an effect because form follows thought. Absolutely. The thing is, we do not "create" anything in our life using just the power of positive thinking. This is only one part of the process. For manifesting, we need to unblock and use the energy of the particular chakra that the thing we're trying to manifest resides in. For example, the energy of money resides in the root chakra, so that is the chakra we need to unblock and then connect up with the energy of all the other chakras. Do you see? We cannot create a child, for example, with just the power of our minds.

To answer your question about putting the negative behind and envisioning the positive - Try to understand that what's in your way is so much more than just thinking or envisioning the positive. To have anything shift and change here, you really have to get to the ROOT of the core issuse. In other words, the energy blockages are not coming from the mind, but rather from the very root. This is why the flow of money is blocked.

And psychically, as I tune more into this, I'm picking up on some of this having to do with money/self-worth issues and belief systems about money that you were taught as a child. These become patterns. So that would be worth your time to examine and figure out where exactly self-worth started getting mixed up with money.

Now, you must know that you cannot change the husband. We cannot change anyone else. But for yourself, you should probably start with learning more about what is blocking your own ability to create. Remember, we create from the root, not from the mind.

Also helpful, perhaps, would be to examine your ideas of what is negative and what is positive. Sometimes "negatives" are positives in disguise. Get to the root of everything. That's where the real issues are and that's what's in your way right now.

I hope that's helpful, Kelly. Great questions. Thank you.

Hi Dyan;

Thank you for your comments, and certainly post my question on your advice column, if it will help others, then by all means, please share.

I do understand what you are saying. I'm not sure if I have self-worth mixed up with money as much as I actually have the duties of a husband/father mixed up with money.

My father worked all the time, still does, and mine tends not to as much as possible. So, I end up feeling desperate, worried, insecure in the fact that there won't be the money needed to pay the recently re-financed house with a higher payment. I feel let down, I guess.

So, I really do think it has a lot to do with that, in my situation. I equate a husband with security, stability, financially. And when my husband isn't working, that throws me off-keel.

It is likely something I need to overcome as a lesson in this lifetime as it keeps occuring over and over.

I'm not sure how to overcome it totally though because of course money is what is needed to help provide us a place to live and food for our bellies.

But maybe that's what I need to focus on is seeing that these things are already there and will continue to be and stop focusing on the "job" situation and allow things to fall into place in another way, maybe that's the lesson.

Thank you again Dyan.

Hi Dyan,

You’re very welcome! It’s my pleasure. I think that is very cool to create so that there is automatic shift. If you had to put a definition on automatic shift, how would you define it for those who may not know what it means. I agree that you can figure this out without all the hype that’s following the Law of Attraction – it’s always been there, people are just bringing it more out on the open.

“It is our divine right to create.” This comment is SO true! And I think that when people realize that it’s okay to manifest then they can move forward on their own path and the lessons they have charted to learn in this lifetime.

I also wanted to ask you if you could tell readers about manifestation boards. Do you use them? How do you set them up and do you think they’re beneficial? If not, what other way would you recommend to have something physical to use alongside your internal manifestation exercise?

On the chakra project - (I forgot to say in the last post) - I can't really talk about it too much because I'm talking with a publisher about it right now but I can say it's something that hasn't really been done before.

Kelly - thanks for posting! and great advice Dyan!

I'm heading out to an appointment soon but I'll check back when I return.

Dear Kelly:

Lively discussion. I love it. Let’s start with some of the things that reside in the root chakra. Remember, the root chakra is where we create from and if that is blocked all the positive thinking in the world isn’t going to create anything. These things must work together. The energy of money, family and tribe reside in the root, as do self-worth and self-worth as it relates to money. There are more, but for our purposes here, that is enough said.

Now, in terms of creating, we are designed intrinsically to co-create. That is we cannot make a child by ourselves, but must engage the help of a counterpart. In this instance, from what you say, your chosen male counterpart is not participating in the creation process as it relates to the energy of money. Your father, (remember the energy of money, family and tribe is in the root chakra as well) is perfectly capable and willing to engage in creating money for family. So, this is the root pattern that you have been taught regarding money. You have been taught that the male goes out and does the creating of money. However, the lesson you are learning here is about co-creating and about your own role in that.

So, when we get to the self-worth issue a few things come up. Ask yourself why you have chosen a co-creating partner that is not willing to co-create. Ask yourself why you are giving your own power to create away. Or putting the responsibility for “creation” onto the husband. (his is the pattern you were taught, but perhaps isn’t the same pattern that is underpinning the root of your marriage) Keeping in mind, of course that creation is really ultimately a co-creative effort.

Also in the self-worth area it would be helpful to try to understand – and I would say this to anyone – who you are without your money and your possessions.

If you don’t really know the answer to this, the universe seems to have its ways to try to help us remember. Once you figure out that money and things do not have power, but that your perception that they do fuels the energy of money, you’re one step ahead on the path.

When you say that you suspect this is a life lesson, you may be right, however that life lesson may have to do with teaching your husband how to co-create and that means that you yourself need to first take responsibility and remember how to co-create, then teach it to him. Everything is truly a lesson in love.

It seems that you both need to get to the root of your patterns and then that will help free up the energy of money.

In terms of money being needed for survival, Kelly, this is the perception that so many are operating under. The thing is that by truly believing this we give our power away. Money is simply our chosen exchange of energy and this could be absolutely anything. It could be pieces of lint.

It is our perception and our belief system that these chosen pieces of paper have power that fuels the power of the perception. If we didn’t designate money/pieces of paper as our exchange, what else do we have that we can exchange with? In other words, if you had no pieces of paper and no one else believed that these had power anymore either, how do you survive? When you know that answer you have the answer to unblocking the root of your money issues.

I hope this helps you and many others. And thanks once again to Melissa for this opportunity to help.

Dear Melissa:

The Law of Attraction needed to filter into collective and mass consciousness as the truth that it is so that we could assimilate it to get to the next step in the ascension process. That next step is integration. It’s taking responsibility for co-creating, not trying to create with only the power of our minds and demanding that things show up in a certain way at a certain time. That is tantruming, not co-creating.

Again, we do not create a child with only the power of our minds. We must engage the energy of the root to create anything.

The Law of Attraction is but one step in the process of manifesting. And you right, it is not a secret, but a universal law. Absolutely.

As to automatic shift, energy can be shifted instantaneously once we get rid of the underlying patterns and illusions and get to the truth of who we are. These are what keep people stuck. If you’ve ever felt moved by a piece of music, you can understand automatic shift. My CD series is designed for that.

People tend to perceive shift or change or transformation as work. So, automatic shift takes the work out of change. However, one truly does need to get to the root of the matter of perceptions, illusions and patterns that keep one stuck.

Automatic shift happens when one is willing to align one’s will with universal will. As in any healing, healing can occur immediately. It doesn’t have to take years of endless seminar attending. The book is simply designed so that the thinking part of the brain can come together with the feeling part of the self. This is necessary for alignment and that causes an automatic shift in energy.

It is however, up to the individual – just like anyone going to the doctor’s office and getting a pill for a specific ailment – to hold the new energy pattern and move forward with it.

As for manifesting boards. Melissa, I don’t know much about this other than to say I have heard of them. The thing is that I believe they are based on goal setting, visualization, and so forth. These energies come from the mind, the brain, and are not integrated with the rest of the self.

Again, if I understand it correctly, it’s trying to manifest from the ego and what the mind thinks it wants, rather than the integrated unit of the whole connected self that is aligned and willing to co-create. This type of thing is “attracting” rather than “manifesting.”

We are absolutely able to attract this way. However, this is not manifesting. This is not co-creating. It is only one step in the process of manifesting.

As for manifesting exercises, really it’s quite simple. Figure out how to integrate and align the visualizations, wants, needs, and desires of the mind/ego with the rest of the self and what it came to do.

It isn’t difficult, but does entail getting out of the ego long enough to be willing to co-create rather than demand or try to manifest from the mind.

So for readers, yes, the manifesting boards are one step in the process and a necessary step. Continue to do this, but also try to understand it as just one step in the process, not the whole thing.

Hi Dyan;

I think I do understand what you are saying, it makes sense to me.

My biggest frustration is that my husband is not co-creating our income flow.

I think perhaps the reason I chose a partner who perhaps was not willing to co-create might be because my dad missed out on some things in our life (my brother and myself) so that maybe if he hadn't been so fixated on co-creating income he might have had more time. But even as I say that, it isn't ringing true to my ears, because I know my dad was there for a lot and it was because of his working so hard that we had a second home and opportunity to fish, hunt, and play in the mountains where we all now live.

So, maybe that's not all of it.

I don't think I've given away my own power to co-create, as I have always worked, very much like my father. However, maybe that is more in line with the underlying cause here. I always identified more with my father, I was my father's best son, although of course I was biologically his daughter. I was the one who got out to fix the car, change the tire, roto-rooted the plumbing etc.

So maybe the reason I chose a mate that ultimately was not willing to co-create in this situation as because I was actually looking for a person who was more like a wife in the "traditional setting" of a wife.

Although my mother worked, she didn't work until we were older and able to care for ourselves and then worked for the school to be home when we were.

So perhaps that is more to the root of this situation.

Now, who I am without money and possessions, that's not too tough for me, I could care less about possessions, I'm such a no frills kind of person, and as you say lint could be used for exchange, and to be honest, I'd be much happier with that situation, I can manage lint. LOL

So perhaps that's what I need to think of is how to acheive more lint. I think the hardest part for me to wrap my mind around is that the rest of the world doesn't see lint as a means of exchange and as such expections are in place that I cannot change.

I really do understand what you are getting at, I believe. And money is not a means to an end only a trail that leads to needing more.

Hmm, I'm still thinking, just putting some thoughts out there.

I was ready to up and leave everything behind and start anew without anything and that prospect doesn't scare me one bit, because I know that poseessions are merely aids to comfort us and without them we will find other ways to be comfortable. I feel comfort is all a perception of mind.

However, then I think about my son and how this can affect him or would affect him. I try to get my husband to see my fears, worries, and such but he seems not to and I wonder what is it that he sees so differently than I? I look at our past and I think, we've been here before and it was rough then and if I didn't step in, things wouldn't have changed.

Then I think, that's the key, don't step in. Don't do it. Let him learn, let him take the step and provide you with the feeling of security you want and need. But then fear steps back in and I think but he never did before, why is he going to change.

Maybe I need to work more with some of my crystals in opening my root chakra and some more meditation into the reasons why.

Curious about more of your thoughts. I hope that I am not taking away from anyone else though. I'm not quite sure how this blogging works, so let me know if I should just shut up and think and stop typing. LOL :)

Thank you too, Melissa for this great opportunity to be of service. I truly appreciate it.

Kelly - You are delightful! Ok, you've almost got it. Now, study all the underlying patterns here and that will give you the rest of the keys. Patterns. Patterns. And most importantly, get to the very root of the "fear." There is nothing to be afraid of and once you firmly have that, you have successfully freed yourself. Fear and Love cannot exist in the same place. It's one or the other. And the power is in the Love.

Many blessings,
